ONTARIO — On June 20, the Indigenous Sport and Wellness Ontario introduced open registration for the ‘Sharing Our Power Digital Convention’ to happen on-line from June 27-29.
Supplied by the Indigenous Sport & Wellness Ontario (ISWO) Girls & Women Committee, the digital convention will probably be aimed toward offering a platform for some Indigenous feminine function fashions to share their success tales with Indigenous First Nations, Metis, and Inuit girls and women throughout Ontario.
Providing three days of displays: day one will cowl enterprise and entrepreneurship, day two will cowl sports activities and health, and day three will cowl tradition and Id.
“It’s our hope that these girls and women go away the convention feeling empowered with a brand new sense of confidence of their means to see themselves as a pacesetter and go away feeling motivated for his or her subsequent chapter in life,” reads the web page on the ISWO web site.
For tradition & identification: Josee Bourgeois, Daybreak Setford, and Gabrielle Fayant will keynote. For sports activities & health: Mary Spencer, Brigette Lacquette, and Kendra Jessie will keynote, and enterprise & entrepreneurship will see Krystal Abotossaway, Marian Jacko lead, with extra to be introduced.
There will probably be ongoing attendance and prize entries for every presentation, for every presentation attended, attendees will probably be entered right into a prize draw.
Registration is open to all First Nations, Metis, and Inuit girls and women residing in Ontario, ages 14 and up.
